AVHRR Israel Subset

The AVHRR Israel Subset is a window over Israel (512 x 512 pixels ~ 600 x 600 squared km) produced by the AVHRR instrument.
The images were processed and prepared for ISA-MEIDA by the remote sensing group at Jerusalem Hebrew University headed by Prof. Daniel Rosenfeld.
The images are available as preview JPG files, and in HDF format. Each HDF file contains the 5 channel radiometer data, the geolocation of each pixel, and the solar and satellite zenith angles.
Some AVHRR Products are available from the Global Land Biosphere Data and Information Web Site at the Goddard Space Flight Center's DAAC.
